On October 23, 2008 the server running this website had a hard drive failure that wiped out the database for this domain. Since this was a project running exclusively on very small ad sales funds are not available to get it back up and running at the same level as before. We apologize for this and promise to bring the site back in the future as time and resources allow.

You can help.... funds are desparately needed to keep this site running. If you wish to donate use the link below.



There are other ways you can help, too!  If you have cached copies of pages that used to exist on this site you can use the CONTACT FORM to submit them.  For the time being you DO NOT need to register to send site feedback.

What's Next?

This site is now under continuous back-up. Thanks to the help of many, named and un-named we have a stable and secure way to back up every aspect of this site.

We still need old copies, photos, and whatever you can share to bring the site back completely.  We have come along way, though!

My great uncle used to own a printing business in town that produced the old postcards that you may run across from time to time.  Mom tells me that there are many in my Grandmothers possession.  I am going to try to get those and scan them in and display them here.  Just another part of the history of Golconda that lends to the richness of it's past as we look forward to that bright future. - Ben
