German Methodist Church
Bult in 1897, the original building dating to 1871 served as both Methodist Episcopal and german Methodist until 1886 when the Methodist Episcopal razed the old Union Church bulding and erected their own church.
The old German Methodist building burned in 1893 and was replaced with the present fram structure. The two churches merged in 1912. The bell tower was removed and the building was converted to a residence.
Al and Nancy Mickelson restored the building and during the remodel, discovered the windows you see today.
