Annual Block Party

Project Sucess'  Annual Pope County Block Party will be held on Thursday April 15th at the Pope County Community School from 5:00PM to 7:00PM.  In conjunction with the Block Party, an Arts Festival, Book Fair, Musical Performance, and Band Concert are planned.

The Block Party brings together representatives of the many resources available in Pope County on one night.  Not only are there numerous service and governmental agencies on hand, but many businesses, colleges and civic groups will set up exhibits.  Amoung the boothswill be games and fun activities for all ages, including the popular cakewalk.  A free meal will also be served on a first come, first served basis and while it lasts.  A number of door prizes are to be given away as well.  For more information, or if you wish to set up an exhibit, or if you wish to donate a cake for the Cakewalk, call Pat West at 618-683-4791 or 618-309-1102.
